The amazing Cody and Megan Kelso’s recent fund-raiser was for energy efficiency measures for the Gibsons Heritage Playhouse. They spent 4 days (and nights) in a scissor lift, and in spite of poor weather, they completed their mission! Collaborating with the Playhouse board on energy upgrades continues, which will not only save the Playhouse money but significantly reduce their Greenhouse Gas emissions. Funds are being sought to finish the needed work, which include heat pumps, led lighting and window upgrades. Thanks to the SC Credit Union, the Rotary Club and the Community Forest for generous donations in helping with this.
